We hold regular tours for Ambassadors of places of interest within the city. Places are limited, so please only register for a tour if you will be able to attend.
The D-Day Story

Join Portsmouth Ambassadors for a tour of the D-Day Story, newly refurbished and reopened.
Here are details of the previous tours we have offered. If you would like us to repeat one of these tours, please let us know, and if there is enough demand we will try to make arrangements.
Tuesday 19th June - 2:30pm to 4:30pm
Join fellow Portsmouth Ambassadors on a visit to Fort Nelson. The Poppies: Wave exhibition finishes on Sunday 24th June, so this is a great chance for Portsmouth Ambassadors to share this memorable experience as a group in the final week of the display.
Guided Walk of Old Portsmouth

Join Portsmouth Ambassador Andrew Starr on a guided walk of Old Portsmouth, and hear about the history, stories, and anecdotes of the area.
The tour will set out from the Square Tower at 2pm, and finish up in either the Spice Island Inn or The Still and West at approximately 3:30pm.
Pompey in the Community & Fratton Park

Pompey in the Community and Portsmouth Football Club invite the Portsmouth Ambassadors to a tour of the Pompey Study Centre and Football Club!
Saturday 10th March 2018 - 2pm to 4pm
Join the Portsmouth Ambassadors for a tour of Portsmouth Cathedral, led by the Cathedral Guides.
The tour will begin at 2pm, and attendees are invited to stay for Choral Evensong, which will begin at 5pm.
Peter Ashley Activity Centres

Kicking off the 2018 Ambassador Tour programme with a tour of the Peter Ashley Activity Centre at Fort Purbrook. This tour was repeated in February due to popular demand.

Wymering Manor, the oldest house in Portsmouth, will be offering guided tours of the building.
Wymering Manor was first recorded in history in 1042, owned by Edward the Confessor. The II* listed building is widely acknowledged as Hampshires most haunted house, and is steeped in history.

Aspex Gallery Curator Tony Spencer will be providing a tour of the Gallery, and a talk on the Main Space exhibition "Countless".

M33 & Jutland Exhibition

Portsmouth Central Library: Introduction to the Conan Doyle Collection

Exclusively for Portsmouth Ambassadors, an introduction to the Conan Doyle Collection at Portsmouth Central Library.
One of the many things we have to be proud of in Portsmouth is that Arthur Conan Doyle created his world renowned detective Sherlock Holmes right here in the City!
Join your fellow Portsmouth Ambassadors for a tour and talk on the archives, and learn more about this iconic literary figure.

The Hotwalls Studios in Old Portsmouth, an open set of artists studios, will be showing Portsmouth Ambassadors around the new studios and café at the Hotwalls.
The Mary Rose Museum

Portsmouth's iconic Mary Rose museum is opening it's doors to Portsmouth Ambassadors!
On Thursday 26th January, Portsmouth Ambassadors are invited to a tour and talk at the Mary Rose Museum, showcasing not only the amazing exhibition, but the work the Museum do with events, volunteering, and education.
At 3pm there will be a welcome talk with refreshments, followed by a tour of the Museum, finishing with a film showing at 4.30pm.
Portsmouth Grammar School
Thursday 1st December 2016 - 2pm to 3:30pm
Exclusively for Portsmouth Ambassadors, Portsmouth Grammar School are offering an insightful look into the school.
There will be a brief talk about the history of the school, the site (including royal and military connections), past pupils and the current school. This will be followed by a tour of the school with pupils. Light refreshment will be provided but unfortunately, they are unable to provide parking during the school day.
The Kings Theatre
