Walter Cha, Managing Partner - Blake Morgan

Walter is the Managing Partner of Blake Morgan, a leading full service UK law firm acting for businesses and private individuals. Its aim is to be the firm of choice for clients and staff alike.

With an annual turnover of £70m+, over 900 staff and 120 partners, the firm advises clients across the UK from four regions London, South Coast, Thames Valley and Wales.

Blake Morgan combines legal expertise with a strong commercial approach and industry focus through its specialist sector groups. The firm's key focus areas include Banking and Finance, Central Local and Devolved Government, Charities, Development and Construction, Education, Health and Social Care, Professional Regulators, Retail and Leisure and Social Housing.

Walter is a non-executive director of a number of organisations, including Meridies Insurance Company Limited, Law South Limited (a group of twelve law firms in the South) and a governor at The Portsmouth Grammar School (a leading independent school).

Walter is also Chair of the Shaping the Future of Portsmouth Business Leaders Group, an initiative to promote the city of Portsmouth to businesses, investors, residents and visitors.

Cheryl is the founding member, and Station Director of Express FM, one of the longest running community radio stations in the country.

After living in Plymouth, Singapore and Sydney, she finally settled in Gosport, and her professional life began as a secondary school teacher of English which she loved and did for 10 years until the arrival for her 2 sons. Her second career took her into the world of radio and she worked for the commercial and BBC sectors as a producer and presenter, leaving after 15 years to begin her writing career.

Cheryl has written programmes and books on the subject of emotional intelligence, employability and life skills, leadership and memory techniques, for people of all ages and abilities, including primary school children and CEO's of global companies

Cheryl also believes in getting involved in her local community, having been a Gosport Town Councillor, Portsmouth City Councillor, President of the Portsmouth and SE Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and more recently Lord Mayor of Portsmouth.
