"Our 2014 Shaping the Future of Portsmouth Conference was held at the Pyramids on Monday 17th November and once again launched Global Entrepreneurship Week in the city. Our focus this year was Skills, as skill development and provision it is one of the key priorities for Portsmouth.
Some 350 delegates enjoyed a wide range of presentations including the Minister for Portsmouth, the Leader of the Council, the Executive Director of G.E.W and Jonathan Goring from Ben Ainslie Racing.
The conference closed with the annual Shaping Awards. All winners were chosen by the Shaping work streams where the focus was on selecting business who had impressed by the way they had developed their own skills or the skills of others."
