Friday 26th January 2018 saw the 2018 Shaping conference being held at Portsmouth's Guildhall. It was the biggest event we have ever run, both in terms of numbers and value.
The audience reaction to the call to action to inspire the next generation has been brilliant, and along with the speakers, panel discussions, and an amazing performance by Olivia Haggarty, this has given our organisation such focus for the year.
The venue was stunning, and Andy Grays and his team were outstanding. My sincere thanks to Vanessa Cooter and her wonderful team from Highbury College Portsmouth for helping on the day, and to Simon Barrable and the Portsmouth College team for filming the event. Their video of highlights from the day will be available soon.
Thank you to all our volunteers who attended, and to our sponsors, without whom we could not do what we do best.
I am looking forward to next year’s conference already, and the date for your diary is January 25th, 2019.
Thank you all for your support, and I look forward to seeing you soon.
