With their unique, youthful and fresh view on digital marketing, the disruptive Portsmouth based start-up, DigitalDinos, is set to officially move into their first office based at Lakeside North Harbour in Portsmouth. The company, which has upset the industry by challenging its competitors on both price and results is comprised of two individuals all aged under 20. They created their business a little over a year and half ago in a pub whilst discussing ways they can help SME’s in the city. Their mission is now to provide social media marketing, websites, apps, graphic design and all things digital marketing as a genuinely affordable and effective solution for businesses both large and small.
In just over a year, they have grown from a handful of clients and working from an old storage room to now having a large client-base and seeing continuous growth with their client base in Portsmouth but now also expanding further afield to areas such as Windsor and London.
DigitalDinos Managing Director, Carl Hewitt (19), who dropped out of his Business Entrepreneurship degree at the University of Southampton after just 6 months to take on the business full time stated; “This is a significant step in the right direction for the company” adding that “I am extremely proud of what has been achieved and all the hard work to take us from a business founded in a pub, to where we are today. We’re still looking to expand our offering, develop the company as a whole and become the go-to digital marketing agency in Hampshire and one day beyond!”
The office is located in Building 4000 at Lakeside North Harbour, one of the most prestigious business parks in the South of England. Co-founder and Director, Reece Matthews hailed the move as “positive, progressive and a well earned move for the company” whilst also highlighting possibilities the new office opened up for DigitalDinos: “Working alongside other ambitious, growing businesses such as Lead Forensics, Verisona Law and Wiggle really does inspire us to continue along our journey.”
To celebrate the latest step for DigitalDinos, the team intend to host an office warming party at a date that is to be confirmed in the near future. The team have also been shortlisted for two awards at this year’s ‘Business Excellence” awards hosted by The News - in the categories of Business start-up of the year and Business Achievement of the year.
