Saturday evening saw more than a thousand guests flock to Port Solent to enjoy an evening to remember at its second annual show-stopping, glitz and glamour-styled Prosecco Festival.
Guests arrived to a glamorous red carpet welcome with paparazzi and photo frames to pose by, a fabulous Mirror Ball act and a glitter bunny. Spread across the entire Boardwalk, guests enjoyed 12 different types of taste bud-tingling glasses of Prosecco, with the opportunity for people to ‘pimp’ their Prosecco into a cocktail or fancier tipple.
This year, Port Solent offered brand new, exclusive areas for ticket holders only, including live music from Portsmouth-based rock and pop cover band The Spoils, a magic mirror and a disco by Flamingo Boss where party-goers could let their hair down and dance the night away until 1am.
Lisa Fowler, Events, Marketing & Centre Administrator at Port Solent, said: “Prosecco Festival has been a huge success and dazzled us, once again. It was great to see so many guests thoroughly enjoying the evening of glitz, glamour and bubbles. We’d like to thank all of our team involved for working hard to make this event happen and all of our guests for coming along – we hope everyone had a wonderful time.”
Lucy Maynard, who attended the event, said: “Brilliant night and fantastic entertainment! It was so well thought out, thank you Port Solent.”
