As the only Portsmouth charity shortlisted in the region, your vote could see the John Pounds Centre named a winner in this year’s People’s Projects, and is now calling on the people of Portsmouth to offer their support by voting for the Centre’s ‘Good4U’ Project to secure a £48,000 grant award.

If successful, the John Pounds Centre which is located on Queen Street in Portsea, will use the grant to develop and run the Centre’s ‘Good4U’ inclusive wellbeing activities with a focus on supporting those experiencing social isolation & people living with physical or mental health conditions. Activities would include Men’s & Diabetes Kitchen courses, disability friendly exercise classes, and community gardening activities. The project will cater for the needs of disabled and able bodied people alike.

Please vote for the ‘Good4U’ Project at http://jpc.news/vote, where you can also see a short project showcase video. Voting runs until Midday on Monday 15th April.
