A new carton recycling bank has been installed at Morrison's in Anchorage Park.
The bank can be used for recycling cartons for a range of products including milk, soups and juice - often known as Tetra Paks, and coffee cups.
This is the second carton recycling bank to be installed in the city after one was recently placed at Asda in Fratton.
Councillor Dave Ashmore, Portsmouth City Council's Cabinet Member for Environment & Community Safety, said: "I'm delighted we have opened another carton recycling bank and hope it proves popular with residents. We want to offer people as many opportunities as possible to recycle and this is another step in the right direction. We're aiming to keep increasing the range of products that can be recycled in the city and make it easier for residents to get involved and will be installing more of these banks across the city throughout the year."
