Businesses that make, develop or use technology are being invited to attend TeenTech™ Solent.

Businesses and organisations are being given the unique opportunity to showcase technology from their company by creating a 15-minute activity in the Insight Zone or a 30-minute activity in the Challenge Zone for attendees to be able to experience their technology and how it works. The event is free of charge for businesses and organisations to exhibit.

The one-day event founded by Maggie Philbin that aims to inspire tomorrows innovators. It is organised by EBP South who are running two TeenTech™ events across Hampshire this year.

TeenTech helps young people understand the opportunities in the science, technology and engineering industries, no matter what their gender or social background.

Young people from years 8 and 9 ages 12, 13 and 14 from a range of schools across Hampshire will be attending. This is a crucial age to inspire the next generation and future employees before they select their options and start making choice about their future career pathways.

Businesses looking to invest in their future workforce are being encouraged to attend as it is a proactive opportunity for them to start developing their future pipeline.

TeenTech™ Solent takes place on Thursday 23rd May 2019 at Portsmouth Guildhall with schools from across the South Coast, including Portsmouth, Southampton and surrounding areas invited.
