Charities benefit from £7,500 raised by council Car Boot Sales

Local charities have benefited from the summer season of car boots at Southsea common

Cllr Pitt Deputy Leader of Portsmouth City Council presented a cheque totalling £7,500 to four Portsmouth charities.
£1500 was donated to Kings Church Food Bank, £2000 to The Roberts Centre, £2000 to PARCS Portsmouth Abuse and Rape Counselling Service, and £2000 to Naval Families Federation

Cllr Pitt said "The car boot sales were really popular again this year and we're delighted to be donating a total of £7,500 to these deserving local charities as a result. Thank you to everyone who supported the car boot sales"
