Shaping Portsmouth is looking to recruit a Business Support Manager to work with the CEO and Head of Programme & Partnership Development.
Shaping Portsmouth’s success is built on three points of a triangle. The 50+ financial partnerships, the six part-time staff, and the 150+ wonderful volunteers who give their time freely to either lead or take part in one of our 13 current programmes.
The main purpose of this exciting and busy role is to run a set of selected management systems for Shaping Portsmouth and support both the Head of Programme & Partnership Development and the CEO.
This is a paid role as one of Shaping Portsmouth’s core members of staff.
The initial activities are:
In support of Programmes, the responsibilities will be to arrange the various programme meetings, ensure that agendas are published, and to either record and publish the actions taken if attending the meeting, or ensure they are recorded and published promptly.
Work with the Programme Leaders to ensure all agreed actions are completed in accordance with the timeline set. Use both the Head of Programme & Partnership Development or the CEO to ensure the momentum of each programme activity is maintained.
Ensure that all of Shaping’s Patrons, Partners, and Associates are supported with their benefits pack items and help create a set of valuable deliverables to these partnerships. This will include the management of the end-to-end process for the annual renewal of our existing Patrons, Partners & Associates, and the onboarding of new relationships.
Provide administrative support to the CEO for an agreed set of tasks including arranging meetings and covering any urgent emails with due dates that fall inside a given timeframe. Also, the person would work with the CEO on specific projects to either get them started or set up so that they can become operational.
It is envisaged that this role will be a maximum of 25 hours a week and up to 5 hours a day each day. There is scope for this to be condensed into 4 days.
Shaping Portsmouth operates a flexible Home / Office working pattern and any successful candidate will have to agree to that.
