Vision & Mission

The Armed Forces Covenant and Employer Recognition Scheme is a promise by the nation ensuring that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.

We are working to enable businesses in Portsmouth to recognise the strength of providing opportunities to members of the armed forces, reserve force and veteran community.
Showing a commitment led by the National framework and Shaping Portsmouth, ensuring Portsmouth as a collection of businesses can achieve their own potential and prosperity.

Sign the Covenant

To register for the Armed Forces Covenant couldn’t be easier:

  1. Download the Armed Forces Covenant Pledge Template
  2. Add your logo, dates, and signatures and save the document
  3. Email a copy of the document, company website, company registration number, and company head office address to

What happens next:

You will receive an acknowledgement while checks are being made, and there may be some further email correspondence to finalise details.
You will then receive a notification that you have been accepted, along with Armed Forces Covenant logos and branding which you can utilise to show your committment.
You may also be invited to take part in a formal signing of the Covenant with others from your community.
