We would like to thank you all for joining us on Friday to make it our biggest Conference to date, with 451 joining us in the room and a further 46 watching via the live stream.
It was an incredible energy in the room and we hope it inspired you to support our city. We know we inspired at least the 58 of you who committed your organisations to the pledge to inspire the next generations!
Thank you to our speakers and Directors, our hosts the Portsmouth Guildhall, all our exhibitors, sponsors, delegates, and student volunteers for making it such an amazing day.
The event was also a well-deserved tribute to Stef Nienaltowski, who took a bow after seven years as our CEO, receiving not one but three standing ovations.
Shaping Portsmouth’s new CEO, Dave Humphries, said “My first Shaping Portsmouth conference was a fantastic experience. It was great to meet so many people and the welcome I received from everyone was lovely.
“More importantly the conference provided a fabulous send off for Stef with a record turnout of 451. The updates Stef gave on last year’s work were a great testament to the passion and commitment he has given Shaping Portsmouth and I am excited to take the baton from him.”
Steff Jones, Shaping Portsmouth Events Lead, adds “The conference, above any other Shaping event, demonstrates how individuals, communities, organisations and businesses of Portsmouth are committed to driving this wonderful city forward in so many different ways! They should all be immensely proud of themselves….and what a great send-off for Stef after his years of hard work for this city. The whole Shaping family will miss him immensely. We now look forward to a new chapter under Dave’s leadership.”
We would like to thank our host
