EBP South are pleased to release their 2023 Get Inspired, Primary Schools’ STEM Fair and Inspiring STEM event dates for 2023. These exciting and interactive events provide businesses with the opportunity to strengthen their talent pipeline and give young people the chance to learn about the wide variety of career paths in their local area.
The first of the 2023 Get Inspired Events will be Get Inspired Portsmouth returning to Portsmouth Guildhall for the tenth year on the 25th of January 2023. This will be followed by two days at the Apollo Hotel, Basingstoke for Get Inspired Basingstoke on the 8th of February 2023, and a new joint event, Get Inspired Basingstoke and Test Valley on the 9th of February 2023. The final event of the year will be Get Inspired Southampton and New Forest which will be returning to Solent University Southampton on the 11th of May 2023 after a successful first event there last year.

By attending these events businesses can develop their recruitment strategy and have a positive impact on the future workforce.”
EBP South’s Primary Schools’ STEM Fair will be returning to the CEMAST, Fareham College on the 8th and 9th of March 2023 with an extra day added in the north of the county at Queen Mary’s College, Basingstoke on the 15th of March 2023. Engaging with Primary School students can help businesses to build links with the future workforce, influencing their career choices and helping to bridge the skills gap.
EBP South will also be holding a brand-new event for secondary students, Inspiring STEM, at the National Oceanography Centre on the 28th of June 2023. This new and exciting event will give students the opportunity to learn more about STEM careers by taking part in engaging activities. Businesses will be able to inform young people about their industry and break down stereotypes about STEM job roles and career paths.
