Shaping Portsmouth’s first official Explore Your Future – Business Breakfast is due to take place on 2nd November at Trafalgar School.
We are thrilled to announce this session will be delivered in collaboration with Southsea Coastal Scheme and their representative, Site Agent Robert Stevens-Hoare.
We are sure that the young people of Trafalgar School will have a lot to learn from Robert who will be not only sharing his experience of working with The Southsea Coastal Scheme but also his personal career journey hopefully inspiring our young people to explore a career in this ever-growing industry.
The team at Southsea Coastal Scheme said “We’re really excited to be involved in the Business Breakfast programme and we understand the importance of having honest conversations with young people to help guide them in the right direction for their chosen career. Our integrated team at Southsea Coastal Scheme includes a wealth of professions – from design to engineering to commercial quantity surveying and more – so we’re looking forward to sharing some of our career paths and sparking the interest of the younger generation.”
Kirsty Hill, Education and Community Coordinator at Shaping Portsmouth, adds “On behalf of Shaping Portsmouth I would like to thank both Southsea Coastal Scheme and Lucie Passmore, Head of Student Enrichment at Trafalgar School, for their commitment to this programme. We look forward to seeing this work come to life on the 2nd November. This is a great opportunity to inspire the young people of Portsmouth and give them the knowledge they need by hearing a real-life career story from such a successful individual like Robert.”
