We are looking for a new partner who has a passion for Apprenticeships to join our growing team from September 2023 to February 2024.
Every year, the Apprenticeship Bus embarks on an inspiring journey across the city, bringing apprentices from thriving businesses and organisations in Portsmouth directly to 10 senior schools. This dynamic initiative grants students a golden opportunity to engage with these apprentices in person, offering an authentic, firsthand glimpse into the enriching world of an apprenticeship.
During each school visit, a captivating hour unfolds, during which the eager students are immersed in a captivating narrative of what the all-encompassing Apprenticeship programme has in store for them.
Programme Objectives:
- To inspire students in Portsmouth to consider Apprenticeship as a viable and exciting career option.
- To secure Apprentices from as many Portsmouth businesses and priority work-related areas as possible.
- To reach the maximum number of Year 9-11 students in Portsmouth each year.
There is a monthly stakeholder meeting where all actions will be recorded, this programme already has a strong group of stakeholders and we are looking for a volunteer lead to help support driving us to meet deadlines on time for the buses departure from Monday 5th February (12 days following our annual conference).
