Tim Forer, Barrister, retired as a Partner at Blake Morgan at the end of April. Tim, who has been involved with Shaping Portsmouth from its early days, will continue as a Consultant with the firm, working alongside other colleagues in the City.

Tim said, “I have had many wonderful years as a Blake Morgan partner but now I feel is the right time for me to step back a little. I am absolutely delighted that the firm has asked me to become a consultant so that I can continue to work with the Portsmouth business and charitable community alongside the next generation of Blake Morgan lawyers using our expertise to support organisations in the city and wider.”

Stef Nienaltowski, CEO of Shaping Portsmouth, added: “I met Tim when I first started as a volunteer at Shaping in 2013 and he has been one of our most passionate supporters since then. Whether in his Blake Morgan Patron capacity, his Business & Enterprise programme role, or as an active Portsmouth Ambassador, Tim has contributed so much to the success of Shaping. As he moves on to this new role, I know he will continue to support our work, and also Blake Morgan too are fully committed to remaining as a patron of Shaping’s.

“Congratulations on this new role Tim and thank you for all you have done in support of our work over the years, and I look forward to continuing to work with you in the future. “

Blake Morgan continues to be heavily involved in the business and cultural life of Portsmouth; for example, the firm is one of the main sponsors of United Services Portsmouth RFC, where Tim is involved in looking after sponsorship and marketing.

Colleague and Partner, Mat Wilson, will be joining Tim in taking a more active role in Shaping Portsmouth, along with Rebecca Whitehead and others from the wider Blake Morgan team.
