Shaping Portsmouth welcomes Fair Ways

Shaping Portsmouth are pleased to welcome Fair Ways as our newest Patron.

Fair Ways is a leading Portsmouth based children’s services charity, delivering Fostering, Education, Residential, Health and Family services, and operating in Southern England and Wales.

Mac McHugh, Fair Ways CEO, said “Fair Ways are passionate about making a difference for children, young people and adults in care. We have provided services in Portsmouth for over 20 years and embrace all aspects of the city to provide experiences for those in our care. We believe Portsmouth is a great place for young people to call home.

“We are excited to be a patron of Shaping Portsmouth. Their values and initiatives for care leavers in the city strongly align with ours and we look forward to actively contributing to improving the lives of those in care and care leavers in the coming years.”

Shaping Portsmouth CEO, Stef Nienaltowski, adds “In welcoming Mac McHugh and the team from Fair Ways as our newest Shaping Portsmouth Patron I wanted to share with you the excitement we have in starting our Partnership with them. Since their beginning they have been focussed on making a real difference to the lives of the people they support.

“You cannot be anything other than impressed with Mac’s passion for all he and the whole team do in their pursuit of their organisations objectives. The Shaping Care Leavers programme plays right into the heart of the work that Fair Ways are involved in, but much more than that it is obvious how similar both our organisations feel about serving the community.

“Welcome Mac, Gareth, Paul and the whole Fair Ways team to the Shaping Partnership and I know we will have a long and productive Partnership going forward.”
