Shaping Portsmouth are thrilled to announce we have joined forces with the incredible The Girls’ Network who are now one of our community supported projects.
Kirsty our community lead has spent some time working alongside Paula Falck, Network Manager at the Girls’ Network, to learn all things mentoring. The Girls’ Network inspire and empower young girls ages 14-19 from the least advantaged communities by connecting them to a mentor and network of professional women, to develop self-confidence and a more positive vision for the future.
Paula is always recruiting new mentors locally and if you have an hour a month, 3+ years of professional experience and would like to inspire a young girl then please do contact us at info@shapingportsmouth.co.uk or Paula at paula@thegirlsnetwork.org.uk to find out more.
This is a real passion project for the Shaping Portsmouth Team who are thrilled to be working in partnership with The Girls’ Network on this hugely valuable piece of work and with our very own Imogen Hambry, Summer Intern, accessing the service and finding it so helpful and inspiring we can’t wait to see this partnership thrive and grow.
