The Parenting Network launches Christmas Pyjama Appeal for families fleeing domestic abuse

The Parenting Network have launched an online Christmas Pyjama and Book Appeal on behalf of the charity Stop Domestic Abuse for children and their families living in refuges across Portsmouth, Fareham, Havant, Alton and Aldershot during this Christmas period.

Matt Foster, founder of The Parenting Network, said ‘These families are seeking refuge during the Christmas period and often they have had to pick up and leave quickly and they are not able to take a lot with them. The staff at the refuges do a fantastic job to create a hub of safety and warmth and love and we wanted to be a part of that. We want as many children as possible to be able to snuggle up on Christmas Eve reading a book in their new cosy Christmas Pyjamas”.

Anyone wishing to support this appeal by making a donation can do so by visiting www.theparentingnetwork.co.uk/pyjama-appeal

All donations need to be received by 16th December.
