Vespasian’s Partnership offers an opportunity for us to work within other like-minded businesses to really advance the Portsmouth community and showcase what Pompey has to offer.”

Sam McGrath, Director of Operations & Marketing at Shaping Portsmouth, said “This is going to be a very strong partnership for 2023. The Vespasian team were on the Apprenticeship bus for 3 days, are exploring working with a group of our Care Leavers, giving them employment opportunities via free training, and are keen to join the Skills & Employability programme and Workplace Health & Wellbeing programme.

“Ruby is another success story as she has been promoted from an Apprentice to a Head of Department through her hard work. It makes complete sense that they joined the partnership from April 2023 as we all share the same vision, and they are doing some incredible work already in our community as well as offering free funded courses to over 19-year-olds locally.”
