Roles Available
We’re looking to fill the following roles within the Armed Forces Community Programme, to work with the volunteer leads and the Shaping Portsmouth team. Could you be the driven and dedicated person we’re looking for with experience in:
- Armed Forces Families lead
- Service Leavers lead
- Veterans lead
Role Description
As a volunteer, you will be involved in various activities aimed at providing support and services to Businesses, Schools, Organisations and Charities in Portsmouth and surrounding areas, and within the Armed Forces Community. Your responsibilities may include:
- Organising and participating in community events
- Providing support and advice
- Helping with outreach, communication and awareness
- Supporting fundraising and campaigns
- Able to commit to 1-2 hour(s) per week
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for dedicated individuals who possess the following:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to work as part of a team
