Armed Forces Community
Dip & Sip
Led By: Sarra Gravestock – Director and Head of Children & Social Services, Biscoes
EVERY SUNDAY AT 1PM – OUTSIDE THE COFFEE CUP, SOUTHSEA
Dip & Sip is a friendly, peer-led group for veterans, serving personnel, blue-light workers, and friends. We meet weekly on the seafront for a short, sea dip followed by a cuppa.
The group was set up to create a simple, low-pressure way for people to connect, steady the nervous system, and enjoy the wellbeing benefits of cold water. There’s no pressure to swim, most of us don’t, some dip, some paddle, some just come for the cuppa.
Who it’s for:
Veterans, serving personnel, the blue-light community, and anyone who feels they would benefit from being part of a supportive group outdoors.
Our approach:
- Come as you are.
- Dip if you fancy, sip if you don’t.
- Swim at your own risk.
Everyone welcome.
