Bought to you by Solent Careers Hub & Portsmouth City Council, the show takes place Wednesday 23rd September 2026 at the Mountbatten Centre. This event brings together employers, training providers, and education partners from across the Solent, offering Portsmouth’s students the opportunity to explore a wide range of career pathways, apprenticeships, and further education options.
The event will run from 10:00 to 18:00, with Year 10 and 11 students attending during the day and Post 16 learners, parents, and carers joining us in the evening. Solent Careers Hub are looking for organisations in and around Portsmouth to exhibit at the event for free, and in return you’ll have the attention of the next generation of Portsmouth’s workforce!
You don’t need to have jobs or apprenticeships available currently, just a willingness to inspire our city’s young people.
Solent Careers Hub do ask exhibitors to commit to the full day; however, you are welcome to staff your stand on a rotational basis if that works better for your team
By exhibiting, you will:
- Engage directly with the young people of Portsmouth
- Inspire and influence young people’s career choices
- Showcase your organisation and opportunities in a meaningful way
Exhibitors are encouraged to make their stands as interactive as possible to help young people explore their options. There is no expectation for employers to have live vacancies on the day, as this event aims to help them understand potential career pathways and the steps needed to get there.
Please note this is a FREE event to exhibit at. The event will run from 10:00am – 6:00pm, with lunch and refreshments (donuts!) provided – employers will be able to set up for the event from 9:00 – 10:00am.
