The Portsmouth Pride Stakeholder Network grew from a group of critical friends involved in the development of Portsmouth Pride’s bid to host UK Pride 2025 to a network of over 170 representatives of business, civic, and community organisations across the region, all invested in making Portsmouth a safer and more accepting place for the LGBTQ+ community who live, work, and study here. The network meets 4 times a year, twice in large, open invite events, usually centred around Pride Month in June and World AIDS Day in December, with more focussed events for smaller groups meeting in April and October.

 

Shaping Portsmouth proudly supports the network, and took on it’s administration in 2025 to support the volunteer-run Portsmouth Pride Trust and help them to reach more businesses across the region.
