International conference to help end plastic pollution comes to Portsmouth

Revolution Plastics at the University of Portsmouth is holding an international conference to help end plastic pollution from 1-3 November 2022.

PlasticsFuture 2022 is a mission-driven conference which aims to inspire new solutions to end plastic pollution. It will be an opportunity to share global research and innovation across disciplines and communities, and forge future collaborations.

The conference will take a unique approach to finding solutions to end plastic pollution by embracing science, policy and the creative arts. It will focus on sharing research and initiatives from a broad range of stakeholders, including; researchers, activists, community members, non-governmental organisations, industry, policymakers, and practitioners from around the world. Global thought leaders will share their knowledge, discuss recent advancements, and reveal exciting new insights in our efforts to end plastic pollution.

Revolution Plastics is now calling for abstracts for posters, performances, exhibits and short talks as well as proposals to run workshops, or chair a panel discussion at the conference. They are looking for examples of innovative or creative methodologies, stakeholder engagement, policy, processes and systems that address plastic pollution. Click here to submit an abstract.
