We are pleased to announce that Wednesday 14th August saw the launch of the Shaping Portsmouth Podcast!
Releasing weekly, the podcast will give you an insight into the Shaping team, the work our programmes are doing, our partners, and the great things happening across the city.
The podcast is made possible thanks to our new partnership with Spark Community Space, a local charity, working to reach those who have been left out or left behind, giving people a place to belong.
Spark has podcasting recording space which is open to everybody within our community to use. They do ask for a recommended donation price of £25 an hour, and Terms and Conditions apply. If you are interested please contact Emily Burt at emily@sparkcommunityspace.co.uk.
Becki Simmons, Founder of Spark Community Space, said “We are passionate about working with Shaping Portsmouth as we firmly believe in standing together and working in unison to help the community in Portsmouth thrive.”
Dave Humphries, CEO of Shaping Portsmouth, adds “Spark Community Space are an organisation who, like us, are passionate about making a difference in our city and so I am delighted to have them formally partnering with us. I am also delighted we are able to launch our first Shaping Portsmouth podcast and look forward to utilising this medium in keeping people updated on all that we are doing, with the support of Spark and their podcast studio.”
The first three episodes of the podcast are available now. In the first two episodes you can meet the Shaping Portsmouth team, with episode one focusing on the Operations team, and episode two introducing the Marketing & Support team.
In episode three, Lauren Strong from our Digital Resilience programme talks to Vasileios Karagiannopoulos, Associate Professor in Cybercrime and Cybersecurity at the University of Portsmouth, to discuss cybersecurity and cyberthreats to Small and Medium Enterprises and individuals.
You can listen to the podcast via our website, or subscribe on Spotify or Apple.
