New Roles at Shaping Portsmouth

Amy Cusack & Suzan Win Latt

Last week the Shaping Team welcomed Amy Cusack, who has joined us in the role of Programme Support.

With a particular interest in marketing and strategy, Amy will work alongside the rest of the team to further strengthen projects within the Community Pillar.

Amy said “I am really excited to be joining the Shaping Portsmouth team, predominantly focusing on the Community Pillar projects. The South Coast has always held a big place in my heart and I’m looking forward to making a difference within the community whilst working alongside other like-minded business professionals and volunteers.”

We are also pleased to announce that Suzan Win Latt has been promoted within the team to Education Pillar Lead & Partnership Admin.

Suzan said “I’m incredibly excited to step into this new role and I look forward to working collaboratively with our local educational institutions and partners to create meaningful impact in our community. Education is the gateway to opportunity, and I’m committed to knocking on every door that will help others take their next steps with confidence and support.”

Amy was born and raised on the South Coast and still views Portsmouth and the surrounding areas as her home. She has recently graduated from Technological University Dublin with a BSc (Hons) in Business and Management and has spent almost a year working in the guest services department at Gunwharf Quays, with experience prior to this in other hospitality areas. Amy recognises the passion and potential of the people of Portsmouth and is looking forward to further working with the community. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time at the beach.

Suzan joined the team last year in the role of Office Administrator. Born and raised in Burma (Myanmar), Suzan recently completed her Master’s in Construction Project Management at the University of Portsmouth, and has been selected as the student speaker for her graduation next month. She takes pride in calling the city her second home, as Portsmouth gave her a significant breakthrough in her educational and professional career growth. Being an outstanding achiever awardee, she held her bachelor degree in Civil Engineering also from the University of Portsmouth.
