Shaping Portsmouth partners gather for exclusive event

Last night, 17th July, saw around 60 of Shaping Portsmouth’s partners come to the Spinnaker Tower for an exclusive evening of drinks, nibbles and networking.

The evening started with a brief introduction from Shaping Portsmouth CEO Dave Humphries and Shaping Portsmouth Partnerships Manager Robyn Jacquest, before opening up the buffet and beginning the networking.

The 73 financial partners of Shaping enable us to carry out the work we do with our committed volunteers, so to be able to get most of them together to say a thank you and to allow them to meet other Shaping partners was truly wonderful.

The event was launched after many of our partners asked for an opportunity to network with fellow partners. It was held for the first time last year on the top deck of the Mary Rose Museum, overlooking the ship.

Dave said “It was great to see so many of our fantastic partners without whom there would be no Shaping Portsmouth. The evening was so positive and we truly appreciate the support all of our partners give us. Thank you so much to the Spinnaker Tower team for hosting us.”

Steff Jones, Shaping Portsmouth’s Operations Manager, adds “Great to see so many of you last night, especially the new partners and sorry about the lift. Thanks to Tony, Donna and the Spinnaker team for hosting us. Excellent service as usual.”
