We are delighted to announce that our raffle for a signed Portsmouth Football Club shirt raised £1900 over the Victorious Festival weekend.
The funds were raised for local charity The Road From Karachi to install clean water pumps across India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal. 20% of the funds received go towards providing workshops in local schools to educate students on the importance of conserving water.
One Nation, the organisation installing the pumps, has also announced they will waive the admin fees, meaning an additional five new pumps can be funded for a total of 15.
Dave Humphries, CEO of Shaping Portsmouth, said “We wanted to use Victorious Weekend to spread some Portsmouth Love beyond the city, hence why we chose Road from Karachi. We are delighted that over the course of the weekend, we raised the funds for 15 water pumps. We’re very grateful to everyone who bought a ticket, Portsmouth Football Club for donating the shirt, and Delivered Social for framing it. Together, we’re proving that small actions can create a big impact.”
Congratulations again to our winner, Kyle
