A new Office Administrator joins the Shaping Portsmouth team

We at Shaping Portsmouth are pleased to welcome Marian Oshodi-Glover, who has joined us in the role of Office Administrator.

Marian has recently completed her Master’s degree in Digital Business Management at the University of Portsmouth. She chose to study at the university because of its seaside location and during that time, she fell in love with the city. She now wishes to grow within the city as part of the Shaping Portsmouth team because it will allow her the opportunity to be more involved.

Marian stated “During my Master’s degree at the University of Portsmouth, the city welcomed me, and I now consider it home. It is a fantastic opportunity to get more involved in making the city an even more welcoming place.”

She is looking forward to putting her previous experiences to use in this new role, as well as all the new and exciting opportunities, experiences, and connections that await her in the future.

In her spare time, she enjoys going for walks along the seafront and visiting other interesting places in the city.

Marian will be responsible for supporting the CEO, Director of Operations & Marketing, and Programme Leads with clerical jobs and administrative tasks, and ensuring all office processes are in place and that selected management tools are available for the whole team follow.

Marian adds “I am honoured to be a part of this admirable organisation dedicated to transforming the city of Portsmouth. During the course of my Master’s Degree program at the University of Portsmouth, the city welcomed me and I now consider it home. It’s a fantastic opportunity to become more involved in making the city an even more welcoming place.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Shaping team as the company administrator, and I am eager to learn, grow, and contribute to my new role. I am looking forward to the new and exciting opportunities that this position will provide.”

Welcoming Marian, Shaping CEO Stef Nienaltowski, said “The role of our administrator in keeping the operation running is key to not only our efficiency but the way people perceive and interact with us. In welcoming Marian to this role I am both delighted and excited to be working with her. Marian is passionate about learning about the work we do and the services we run for the City. I know she is going to be a significant player in the team, and I hope you get to meet her soon.”
