Our Digital Resilience programme team has welcomed Maddie Rayment on a 10 week placement from the University of Portsmouth.
Alongside this role, she is a second-year student at the University of Portsmouth, working towards a degree in Criminology and Cybercrime.
Throughout her degree, she has developed a strong understanding of how technology can enable crime on a much larger scale, alongside the significant impact this can have on society. She is keen to apply her practical skills and knowledge to support the programme and to champion the importance of robust cybersecurity strategies to businesses in Portsmouth.
Maddie is passionate about helping others and is eager to work alongside the Digital Resilience Team at Shaping to learn from their experiences, while contributing her own ideas to help protect businesses from cyber threats through clear guidance and education on the risks they pose.
Maddie said “I am thrilled to be working within the Digital Resilience Programme. So far, I have enjoyed working alongside the team and getting an insight to everything they do to give back to the community and businesses in Portsmouth”
