Shaping Portsmouth are pleased to welcome two new Patrons to the organisation as we are joined by HTP Apprenticeship College and Southern Water.
For 25 years, HTP Apprenticeship College has delivered tailored Apprenticeship solutions for businesses and their staff, alongside expert career support and guidance.
Rachael Randall, Founder and Chief Executive of HTP Apprenticeship College, said “HTP Apprenticeship College is an independent training provider offering a wide range of Apprenticeships, partnering with businesses across Portsmouth and the South to recruit, train, and upskill staff. We work closely with employers to design tailored programmes that align with their business needs and objectives. Our streamlined processes makes it easy to invest in existing staff, bridging skills gaps with high-quality training—while the government covers at least 95% of the cost. Since 2000, we’ve been committed to unlocking the potential of every individual. With strong support and expert guidance, there are no limits to what we can achieve together.”
Southern water are committed to making sure customers have access to high-quality, affordable and efficient water and wastewater services, while protecting and enhancing our communities and the environment.
Joanne Wood, Partnership Delivery Manager for Southern Water’s Clean Rivers and Seas Task Force, said “We’re delighted to be joining Shaping Portsmouth. Collaboration is a critical part of tackling storm overflows, and we look forward to the opportunities for long-term change and improvement this partnership will bring the city. Working with Shaping Portsmouth will help us to extend our storm overflow solutions wider, and do so more efficiently, which should speed up progress toward our shared goal of protecting and preserving the environment.”
Robyn Jacquest, Partnership Manager at Shaping Portsmouth, adds “Shaping Portsmouth is proud to welcome Southern Water and HTP Apprenticeship College as two new additions to our growing network of partners. This collaboration marks an exciting opportunity to further our shared mission of driving sustainable growth, innovation and community empowerment in Portsmouth. With Southern Water’s focus on environmental responsibility and HTP’s commitment to educational excellence, these new partnerships align perfectly with our values of fostering a thriving, resilient and forward-thinking city for all.”
