Inspirational Women of Portsmouth Awards announce headline sponsors

The Inspirational Women of Portsmouth Awards have announced their headline sponsors for this year’s event: Liberty Photography, The Middle Group, and StartUp Disruptors.

Pamodzi’s annual Awards celebrate Portsmouth-based individuals who make a positive impact within their communities, whatever context that may be in.
The award evening marking International Women’s Day is open to men and women. It will also celebrate the creative industry within Portsmouth including musical and dance theatre performances.

Liberty Photography was founded by Jennifer Sanchez to be a safe space for women to be truly themselves, to tell as little or as much of their story as they need, to be heard.
The job of Jennifer and the team is to show them a picture that says “I get you, I see you, you are important, enough, loved, beautiful and strong.”

Liberty believe all women should feel free to create, go for their dream job, take shameless selfies, wear a bra, not wear a bra, always wear make up, never wear make up, dress up for fun, do chemistry, flirt outrageously and all the inbetweens.

The Middle Group was formed by Sarah Roads and Anna Smith, two experienced recruiters who started their own businesses in the Marine, Insurance, Financial Services and Pharmaceutical sectors, offering permanent, temporary and contract solutions to many clients around the UK. Their aim was to create a work/life balance that couldn’t be gained by working in the ‘normal’ recruitment office environment.

Whilst running successful businesses since 2017 they have joined forces to create the Middle Group, offering recruiters the opportunity to run their own business with full autonomy supplying all the tools required to hit the ground running.

StartUp Disruptors, founded by Rebecca Lodge, believe in the power of entrepreneurship.
They are an inclusive online incubation and business acceleration community, that provides world-class mentoring, coaching and advice, without any expensive risks. They will help you to refine and realise your business offering and make that move away from the day job, or corporate life, once and for all, helping you attain the freedom that you desire with the ‘safety net’ of a connected community to support you on an often stressful, frustrating and isolating path.

This year £2 of each ticket sale will be donated to Endometriosis South Coast; an inclusive charity set up to help people along the South Coast who are going through the diagnosis stages of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis or have been diagnosed with the conditions.
