Shaping joins Portsmouth Pride

Shaping Portsmouth has joined the Portsmouth Pride Stakeholder Network as our latest supported project under our Community pillar.

Our aim is to connect business communities across the city through the work of Portsmouth Pride, creating a more inclusive city for the LGBTQ+ people who live, work, and study here.

Businesses are invited to attend the next network meeting on Monday 3 June, 9-10.30am at Spark Community Space in Fratton.
There’ll be coffee, tea and Spark’s famous cheese toasties on arrival with the chance to network before hearing from a range of speakers about the work of Portsmouth Pride to host UK Pride in 2025, community projects, business partnerships, ways to get involved and much more. The Pride team are delighted that Stephen Morgan MP will be opening this event and also that we’ll be hearing from the Leader of Portsmouth City Council, Steve Pitt. As always Portsmouth Pride is grateful for the cross-party support received in the city and are looking forward to hearing from the range of speakers already confirmed for the event.

There’ll be more opportunities to network after the talks, and you’re invited to stick around afterwards as Spark celebrates the beginning of Pride Month with wonderful rainbow cakes provided by the Tenth Hole.

Please be sure to RSVP by email to cp@portsmouthpride.org.uk if you haven’t already, or get in touch with any questions.

We’re looking forward to seeing you there.
