The Portsmouth Business Support Service and Digital Resilience programme have joined together with Portsmouth City Council to provide free 30-minute sessions offering business and IT advice to local businesses.
The sessions, taking place on the 24th October at Victory Business Centre (Somers Rd N, Portsmouth PO1 1PJ), will cover funding and growth opportunities, skills and employment support and trusted IT advice to keep your business efficient, resilient and secure. We are excited to announce that our first business drop-in session scheduled for the 8th of October was fully booked within days due to high demand.
Please come along for a friendly informal session if you are interested in speaking about the support for your business.
Marian Glover, Business Pillar Lead at Shaping Portsmouth, said “I’m thrilled to see the Business Support initiatives come to life. Our goal is to ensure that businesses across Portsmouth have access to the support, resources, and guidance they need to thrive.
“In today’s fast-paced environment, navigating funding, skills development, and digital resilience is essential for sustainable growth. These sessions offer local businesses an invaluable opportunity for advice, ensuring they remain competitive and resilient in the face of ever-changing challenges. I encourage all business owners and entrepreneurs to take advantage of this free, accessible resource.”
Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and can be booked here. We are also running a waiting list for future events if you are unable to attend on the 24th. To get onto the waiting list, please email business@portsmouthcc.gov.uk.
