Did you know that 91% of young people in Portsmouth have never been in paid employment, and that 67% have wanted a job, but were unable to get one? They want to work, develop skills, and earn money, but the opportunities for them to do so are few and far between.
Our Youth Employment programme has partnered with Portsmouth City Council to create a comprehensive online resource outlining the process, rules, and regulations for hiring young talent (14-17year olds), which can be found on our website here.
We’d love you to consider hiring a young person, either as a regular part-time employee or on an intern basis during a school or college holiday and we are happy to support you through this process.
Our process is simple:

- Matching: Employers to browse our anonymous candidate board to find suitable candidates based on your specific needs.
- Direct Connection: We’ll facilitate a direct connection between you and the chosen candidate.
