Over the weekend our Digital Resilience team attended the Festival of Crime organised by the University of Portsmouth. The event showcased over 30 years of criminology and crime-related studies at the University, showing the public what they do to tackle and understand crime.
It was great to meet so many wonderful people and share our knowledge and resources in cyber security. We had a lovely time talking to people and hearing about their experience dealing with Dating scams and phishing emails.
We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Festival of Crime, spreading Shaping Portsmouth resources to help people stay safe online.
A huge thank you to Dr. Simona Ciobotaru and Soraya Harding for making it possible for us to have a stall at the event.
Marian Glover, Business Lead for Shaping Portsmouth, adds “The University of Portsmouth’s Crime Festival was a fantastic event, showcasing advancements in tackling and understanding crime. Our Digital Resilience programme at Shaping Portsmouth focuses on empowering Portsmouth businesses to stay ahead of cybercrime threats. I am thrilled our team had the opportunity to connect with and share valuable resources with attendees. A big thank you to Lauren, Bailey, Simona, Soraya, the entire Digital Resilience team, and the University of Portsmouth.”
