We at Shaping Portsmouth are pleased to welcome TRACOuk as our newest Partner.
TRACOuk is the trading name for The Recycled Assets Company Ltd, a B Corp and social enterprise company trying to do the right thing socially and environmentally. TRACOuk clears furniture and equipment from businesses and passes it on to companies and business owners that not only care for the planet but know that buying quality used F&E creates local jobs while reducing their own costs and adding social value.
Jason Bentley, Founder of TRACOuk, said “I started the company in September 2013 in a small warehouse next door to Fratton Park. Fast forward 9 years and together with a committed and dedicated team, we’ve built a company that operates nationally and is relied on and trusted upon to deliver mission-critical removal, clearance, and storage services. This has been done under an umbrella of support from Shaping Portsmouth, Solent LEP, and the people of Portsmouth. Therefore we’ve elected to become official partners of Shaping Portsmouth, so that we may give back more to the community that helped raise us to be a company Portsmouth can be proud of.”
Sam McGrath, Director of Operations & Marketing at Shaping Portsmouth, said “Jason Bentley and his team at TRACOuk have been huge supporters of Shaping Portsmouth for some years now, mainly through our previous Business & Enterprise Programmes. We are now delighted to welcome them as a Partner with a new focus on supporting our Community Programmes. Through the great work they are achieving in the city, we will together build on our social impact locally.”
Shaping Portsmouth CEO Stef Nienaltowski adds “I have worked with Jason for the past eight years and he has always been such a supporter of the work we do and the vision we have for the city. His own company is a shining light when it comes to the environment and the charitable nature of the work they support. I am delighted that we have formed this Partnership and I know we are going to do some exciting things together. “
